ERWIN KEILES
Musical Director - Producer - Guitarist

As Musical Director & Guitarist, Erwin Keiles has probably worked with more “chart topping” Artists than any other musician in the UK.

Born in South Africa, he came to England in 1979 and soon established himself as a top Session Guitarist and Musical Director in the “Pop” industry. As a Session Guitarist, Erwin has played on numerous chart topping records for a wide range of Artists including: Jamiroquai, Take That, Westlife & Boyzone. Erwin was part of the musical production team that launched the Spice Girls, and his involvement is noted both in their definitive documentary “Raw Spice” as well as their biography.

His live performances as Musical Director & Guitarist span an even wider genre of Artists, including: Peter Andre, Charlotte Church, Gabriella Cilme, Shalamar, Gloria Gaynor, Belinda Carlisle, Rick Astley, Go West, and Donna Summer…. to name but a few.  Erwin was responsible for assembling, rehearsing and being Musical Director for more than a decade, of the ‘house band’ for the most successful ‘Multi Artist’ 70’s and 80’s retro-pop shows ever to tour the UK.
